Message from the Chief Diversity Officer
At Wiley, we aim to leverage our collaborative culture to celebrate the collective strength of all forms of diversity – including race, ethnicity, gender, ability, sexual orientation, lived experiences, and perspectives – all under one umbrella. It is our recipe for success.
Diversity, equity, and inclusion are core pillars of our values. Our success is realized one person at a time. Each moment and interaction that we have – when we do it right, creates a firm where all the best talent belongs.
In closing out 2023, 44% of partners and of counsel promotions were women and 100% of our 2023 Fall class are women, racially or ethnically diverse, or a member of the LGBTQIA+ community! Firmwide, over 44% of partners are women, racially or ethnically diverse, or a member of the LGBTQIA+ community.
We also engaged with our clients in exploring tangible opportunities to facilitate a culture of belonging and inclusion. Our investments in sustaining an inclusive work environment enable us to deliver best-in-class legal services. By amplifying the voices and perspectives that reflect the diversity of our communities, we embrace DEI as our superpower.
